The Friends of Springfield Hospital is an organization that helps advance the welfare of and provide serve to Springfield Hospital and the community. The members of the Friends of Springfield Hospital:
- Raise money to support Springfield Hospital.
- Meet every other month to discuss how they can be of service to the Springfield community.
- Offer free educational programs.
Raising money for the hospital
Here is a partial list of Friends of Springfield Hospital fund-raisers:

- Candy sale
- Book sale
- Fashion show
- Plant and craft sale
Fund raised help the Friends provide equipment and financial support to Springfield Hospital. Here are some of the items that have been donated to the hospital through funds raised by the Friends:
- Advanced Life Support Unit
- Paramedic Lifepak
- Pediatric crash cart and outpatient pediatric walker
- Vital sign machine
- Stress test chair
- Mammography Unit furnishings
- Inpatient scale
- Radiology waiting room upgrade
The organization has also provided financial support to the hospital’s building fund, the Mammography unit, and the Crozer Regional Cancer Center campaign, among others.
