Helpful Hints about Your Visit         

• In order to provide comprehensive and individualized care, your initial visit may take as long as two hours. Your follow-up visits may last from 15-45 minutes.
• Please bring your medical records.

Prior to your appointment, please consider:

Bringing a family member or friend with you, for support during your appointments. Having someone with you may help when trying to recall all the answers or the information received during your visit.

Planning ahead on what you want to ask during your appointment. Make a list of questions you would like to ask the doctor or clinical coordinator but don’t hesitate to ask any new questions you think of during your visit.

Asking as many questions as you need in order to feel knowledgeable and comfortable about the disease, how you are coping and living with it.

Writing down the answers so you can review them whenever you want.

Insurance

The Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Center accepts most major insurance plans. Please bring your insurance forms with you and our staff will be happy to assist you in completing the necessary information.
