Crozer-Keystone Health System’s “Moms in Motion” program allows moms-to-be and postpartum mothers to enroll in wellness classes at Crozer-Keystone’s Healthplex® Sports Club in Springfield. A specially trained expert leads each class, taking into account each woman’s personal needs and fitness level. The end result is a program specifically tailored to you.
“Moms in Motion” offers the following classes:
Aqua Mom: A low-impact class that incorporates the use of aquatic equipment.
CK Mom: A one-hour class that includes low-impact exercise and discussions about remaining fit during pregnancy.
Mom and Baby: A program that allows new moms to do light stretching, strengthening and low-impact aerobic exercises, all while holding their babies in the carriers worn on their chests.
Parent/Tot: A 30-minute parent/child aquatic class.
Healthy Living: A comprehensive wellness program of aerobics and strength training geared toward those with orthopedic injuries, neuromuscular disorders, and/or limited exercise ability.
